Erisson TV malfunctions associated with frame scanning
The fourth generation Erisson TVs have a very common typical failure. This problem manifests itself after a year or two from the moment of active operation of the device, and the cause of the failure is hidden behind a transistor in the frame scan circuits. From the theory of the TV, we remember that the frame scan in TVs with picture tubes is designed to form a vertical image and controls the electron beam in the picture tube. This malfunction can have many variations, but usually the TV simply does not go from standby to working. This is due to the fact that in the event of a malfunction of the frame scanning units in the TV, the protection against the kinescope burnout is triggered.
To enter the service menu of Erisson TVs (Erisson 1401, 2102, 2915), you need to: on the front panel, simultaneously press and hold VOL "+" and "-" for 3 seconds
